Zoë Lola has stories to tell. She finds herself in characters that explore love, gender, ambition, religion, politics, and intellect. When she thinks a perspective is missing, she writes it herself.

Zoë has been writing creatively since she could write at all. The first time she received recognition for her writing was in the fifth grade, when she wrote a story that blurred the lines between dream and reality. Now, Zoë frequently turns to poetry and storytelling as a place where she can express the full range of her humanity, without the confines of the often exclusive, often repressive spaces that she traverses in her more visible life.

Her first collection of poems the light was yours was released in July 2024.
